The project pays tribute to the artist Helena Johnová, who founded the Studio of Ceramics and Porcelain at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague in 1919. While researching and obtaining information, I found that even though she achieved international success, in her hometown Soběslav, she is not mentioned. I made a ceramic memorial plaque, which pays tribute to the famous sculptor and installed it on the Republic Square in Soběslav on the 6. 5. 2021. A video recording from a public camera system filmed the installation and the very short fate of the memorial plaque. The legacy was destroyed and cleared the very next day at the instigation of the city police.
