The project is focused on the history of my family. I am from family of Vietnamese immigrants and I mapped the story of my parents. They came to Czechoslovakia in the 80's. My parents decided to chage their destiny and set out for new better life. My mother was only 19 years old and my father was 22 years old. They only met here. The project described the fate of my family, who are one of thousand of Vietnamese immigrants. My goal was to create an object that would remind of the difficult conditions that my parent had to overcome in order to get here. Ceramics clothing is a reminder of the only things my mother brought here from Vietnam.
